The recently concluded FocusIn: High-Performance Culture and Lean Leadership event emerged as a success. The leadership development and benchmarking forum, held from June 13-15, hosted 25 delegates from ten leading US and European companies.
Leaders Engage in Hands-On Workshops and Site Visits
Participants actively engaged in practical learning experiences, including an "Introduction to the Toyota Production System (TPS)" Plant Tour at Toyota Kentucky. The tour, led by the Toyota Production System Support Center (TSSC), provided valuable insight into the operations of one of the world's largest vehicle manufacturing plants. Other plant visits included Hitachi Astemo and Hyster-Yale, two multinational manufacturers. Exclusive workshop sessions, guided by Mike Hoseus, former Assistant General Manager at Toyota Kentucky, offered the attendees a unique perspective on servant leadership and Toyota's continuous improvement culture. Mike Hoseus noted, "This event was designed to inspire and provide real-world insights into developing a high-performance culture. I am pleased to see the tremendous response from our diverse group of participants."
Networking Events Foster Collaboration
The event's extensive agenda was rounded off with networking events promoting meaningful collaboration among the attendees, an exclusive tour and tasting at Buffalo Trace Distillery, and question & answer forums. The diversity of learning experiences at the event received high praise from participants. One participant commented, "This is the best and most helpful Lean Manufacturing event I have participated in. If possible, I highly recommend it to professionals from any industry and entire groups or teams."
