Sara Samora
ReporterSara Samora is a reporter for Manufacturing Dive. Before joining Industry Dive, she served as the military veterans reporter for Stars and Stripes in Washington, D.C. A native Texan, she also worked as the general assignment reporter at the Houston Business Journal and staff writer for the New Braunfels Herald-Zeitung. She also previously served on the Houston Association of Hispanic Media Professionals board. Sara has an M.S. from Columbia Journalism School and a B.A. in journalism and English literature from the University of Houston. Before finishing school, Sara served in the U.S. Marine Corps from 2009 to 2013. She currently serves on the advisory council of Military Veterans in Journalism. When Sara’s not working, you may find her at a cafe or patio reading with a cup of coffee, browsing the shelves at bookstores, cheering on the Dallas Cowboys, and exploring D.C.
