Prior to her stint in Shanghai, Kate was a suburban reporter for Baltimore Sun Media Group in Howard County, Maryland, covering everything from local agricultural issues to school redistricting. Kate is a proud American University graduate, Columbus, Ohio native, and can usually be found in a pair of running shoes.
